How many children do you cater for?
Our parties are best suited for up to approx 10 children, we can accommodate more if you have the physical space. If you intend on inviting more than that please call for a brief informal chat.
What kind of space do I need?
Ideally the party takes place in the kitchen with guests standing around the kitchen table or counter top. If kitchen space is at a premium the dining room table can be used as the baking station. All that is required is relatively easy access to the oven, hob and sink.
We are considering hiring a hall for our party, do you come to hired venues?
Yes absolutely. Do bear in mind however that the acoustics in halls and leisure centres are dreadful and you really do not get the full atmosphere of an intimate home party. Many people hire such venues because they are nervous about having so many children in their homes. Given the way in which Sprinkles totally involves all the guests she nullifies the risk of them running amok in your house. This also saves you on room hire costs. And of course not all venues have kitchens.
What do you provide?
In addition to all the ingredients and utensils we provide table cloth, bakers mats, wipe-down cloths, bakers towels and aprons for all party guests. We do not supply the cake at this time but we are happy to recommend some excellent cake makers. You can discover what each of our party packages entail here.
Please tell me it isn’t going to be messy?
That’s always the big concern. There is an old bakers and chefs adage “clean as you go”. We practice this religiously and instil this “best practice” in our apprentice bakers. Obviously it is a children’s party but generality speaking we ensure the workspace is kept as neat and clean as possible. This is why we supply wipe-down cloths and bakers towels for everyone taking part.
How much does a party cost?
Price depends on a number of variables such as type of event, location and which party package you choose. The best thing is to give us a quick phone call or contact us though you contact page.
What days and time slots do you provide?
Weekends are obviously our busiest time. Slots tend to book up weeks, sometimes months in advance. Typically we offer two slots at the weekend. Times depend on which package you are interested in. Best thing to do is call for a quick chat and we can hopefully work everything out.
